Plea for help in Kamloops cold case

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP are asking residents to help solve a cold case more than a decade old.

On Saturday, April 9, 2005, the body of 44-year-old Sherri Lee Hiltz’s was discovered in a vacant lot in the 800 block of Surrey Avenue.

The person responsible for the homicide has yet to be identified.

Police believe there is someone with information about Hiltz's case and ask them to come forward so Hiltz’s family can have closure around the death of their loved one.

Anyone with any information they have not yet shared with police are urged to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
