Lord of the Dance tour to stop in Okanagan

PENTICTON – The latest production from Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance will be making a swing into the Southern Interior with show in Penticton this spring.

Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, fresh from its debut on Broadway, will be stopping at the South Okanagan Events Centre on March 24, 2016, as part of the Canadian tour, according to a media release

Flatley, the creator and former star of the Lord of the Dance brand, is no longer directly involved in the show’s performance and is retiring in March.

“Although I am retiring, the show will continue to thrill audiences around the globe,” he says in the release.

World Champion dancers Morgan Comer, James Keegan and Fergal Keaney, who were trained by Flatley, will star in the show.

The show promises groundbreaking new technology like holographs and even dancing robots. Gerard Fahy composed the score.
