No one hurt when car crashes into Kamloops Subway

KAMLOOPS – A woman drove her car into a Subway restaurant on the North Shore in Kamloops this afternoon, but no one was injured.

RCMP say the car crashed through the windows at the front of the Subway on Fortune Drive around 2:45 p.m., Dec. 14.

There were customers in the restaurant at the time, but no one was hurt, according to a media release.

“The driver was attempting to park when the collision occurred and the matter is still under investigation,” Cpl. Cheryl Bush says in the release.

Bush says the restaurant received “substantial damages.”
