A woman arrested June 13 for allegedly stabbing a Kelowna man during an argument was charged with attempted murder today.
Police say the 47-year-old woman from Kelowna was arguing with a 39-year-old man and uttering threats when the event happened late in the evening on Leon Avenue near Water Street. They say the two knew each other and had been in a prior relationship. The man was taken to hospital while the woman was taken into custody.
Sheila Devilliers was charged with attempted murder and uttering threats. She remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, June 18.
