BELLEVILLE, Ont. – An Andrew Agozzino hat trick sent the Belleville Senators to their fourth straight victory, a 7-3 pounding of the Laval Rocket in the AHL Saturday.
Agozzino scored once per period, completing the hat trick with an empty-net goal late in the third for the Senators (9-8-0). His three goals came on a game-high 10 shots.
Jake Lucchini had a goal and three assists for Belleville, which also got goals from Egor Sokolov, Maxence Guenette and Scott Sabourin. Kevin Mandolese made 35 saves.
Kevin Roy, Laurent Dauphin and Brandon Baddock scored for the Rocket (7-9-1), losers of three straight. Michael McNiven stopped 34-of-39 shots.
Belleville went 1 for 6 on the power play while Laval was 0 for 4.
