
One person in hospital following Trans-Canada crash in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries following a crash on Highway 1 in Valleyview this morning.
Around 6 a.m. today, Dec. 23, a westbound vehicle collided with a power pole on the Trans-Canada Highway near Oriole Road. The vehicle then came back onto the roadway and was struck by another vehicle.
Cpl. Cheryl Bush of Kamloops RCMP says one male was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Westbound traffic was being detoured through Valleyview as police investigated and the traffic lights repaired. The highway was fully reopened by about 11:30 a.m.
