Midnight head-on crash leaves Chase man dead

KELOWNA – RCMP are looking for the cause of the head-on crash near Pritchard which claimed the life of a Chase man.

The crash happened on the Trans-Canada about two kilometres west of Pritchard just after midnight on July 17.

A pick-up truck being driven eastbound by John Findlay Linklater, 58, was involved in a crash with a semi, according to a media release from the B.C. Coroners Service.

Linklater was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both the RCMP and the Coroners Service are investigating.
