Kamloops RCMP arrest suspects in McDonald’s drive-thru

KAMLOOPS – With guns drawn, Kamloops RCMP officer arrested a pair of suspects in a stolen pick-up truck in a McDonald’s drive-thru yesterday afternoon.

RCMP spotted the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup around 3:30 p.m., Dec. 26. It had had been reported stolen from Calgary.

The officers followed the truck until in pulled into the drive-thru at the McDonald’s on Frontage Road. They boxed the truck in and arrested two Alberta men inside.

“The police are now working on the investigation and tracking the movements of the two males involved from Calgary to Kamloops,” Staff Sgt. Robert Daly says in a media release.
