Celine Dion says she has to feed ailing husband because he can’t use his mouth

TORONTO – Celine Dion says she has to feed her ailing husband Rene Angelil because he can’t use his mouth.

Angelil, who has doubled as Dion’s manager, had surgery in December 2013 to remove a cancerous tumour.

In an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” set to air Wednesday, Dion says Angelil has a feeding tube and she helps him eat three times a day.

Dion announced earlier this week that she would resume her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this August.

She had earlier suspended all career activities while she cared for Angelil, 73.
