RCMP say two men shot in seemingly targeted incident in Surrey, B.C.
SURREY, B.C. – Police say two men in their mid-20s have been shot in a seemingly targeted incident in Surrey, B.C.
RCMP received a number of calls starting at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday reporting gunshots and two SUVs driving erratically in the same area (near 88th Avenue and 124th Street).
The vehicles were described to officers as a white Ford Escape and dark coloured SUV.
Shortly after, a white Ford Escape arrived at the hospital with two wounded men inside.
RCMP say the men each suffered non-life-threatening injuries and both are Surrey residents who are known to police but aren’t co-operating.
Officers say it appears to be a targeted shooting but haven’t linked it to a number of other targeted shootings that happened in the city earlier this month.
