New Year’s Eve house fire in Penticton

PENTICTON – The cause of a small house fire in Penticton New Year’s Eve is under investigation.

Fire crews were called to the home in the 500-block of Wade Avenue around 4:30 p.m., Dec. 31.

Firefighters put out the small fire and there are unconfirmed reports a woman was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
