DHX Media Ltd. signs multi-year distribution deal with the Orchard
HALIFAX – DHX Media Ltd. (TSX:DHX.A) (TSX:DHX.B) has signed a multi-year agreement for The Orchard to distribute more than 8,000 episodes of DHX Media’s library content in the U.S., Latin America, South Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The Orchard will also become the worldwide digital distributor of more than 2,000 tracks of children’s music from DHX’s library under a second agreement.
Financial terms weren’t immediately available.
The Orchard is a distributor of music, video and film to online retail digital outlets.
DHX is a producer and distributor of children’s TV shows, such as Teletubbies and Degrassi as well as owner of the Family Channel and the Disney Junior channels in English and French and Disney XD in Canada.
