Nova Scotia artists win big at second night of East Coast Music Awards
ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Mo Kenney and Jimmy Rankin were among the five Nova Scotia artists to take home honours on the second night of the East Coast Music Awards in St. John’s, N.L.
Kenney won pop recording of the year on Friday for her album “In My Dreams” while Rankin received country recording of the year for “Back Road Paradise.”
The award for Francophone recording of the year went to New Brunswick trio Les Hay Babies for their album “Mon Homesick Heart.”
More awards will be handed out in St. John’s through the weekend as East Coast Music Week continues.
