Canadiens’ Pacioretty skates, but playoff status remains uncertain

TORONTO – Max Pacioretty skated this morning in Montreal, but Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said the forward’s status for the start of the playoffs is still uncertain.

Pacioretty hasn’t played since April 5 when he slammed into the boards in a game against the Florida Panthers.

He was later ruled out of the final three games of the regular season.

Therrien said Saturday it was “good news” that Pacioretty was on the ice.

“He’s reacted really well to the treatment that he got,” Therrien said after the Habs’ morning skate at Air Canada Centre. “But I don’t have much more news because I haven’t talked to the doctor yet.”

Pacioretty, 26, leads the Habs in goals (30) and points (67).
