West Vancouver Police trying to identify mystery man found under bridge

VANCOUVER – Police and the coroners service are asking for help in identifying a man who was found dead under the Lions Gate Bridge in West Vancouver.

The body of the slim white man thought to be between 20 and 25 was discovered on the beach at high tide on Feb. 15.

He is believed to have been in the water only a short time.

The coroners service says he has brown hair and a full beard.

He was wearing a yellow-orange “Star Wars” T-shirt, a hand-knitted navy scarf, a grey hoodie with red and blue stripes and jeans.

The service says he was also wearing grey Pillow Paws socks, black Vans shoes and a green Northern Reflections rain jacket.
