Three found dead in vehicle that crashed and caught fire in Manitoba

THE PAS, Man. – Police in western Manitoba say three people were found dead in a vehicle that crashed and caught fire.

RCMP say they received a report of a vehicle on fire on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation near The Pas early Saturday morning.

They say one female was found outside the vehicle and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Three people inside the vehicle were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears the vehicle was travelling on a community road when it left the road, hit a concrete barrier and ignited.
