Festival celebrating beards coming to the Okanagan

PENTICTON – Does your beard hang low?

Well if it does, then sign up for the first Okanagan Beard Festival this spring.

Presented by Okanoggin Barbershop and Splendid Bastard Beard Supply, the festival will have 12 categories to enter, from longest to best sculpted to best effort.

Registration takes place Feb. 15 at Cannery Brewing with three rounds of judging happening at various locations around Penticton in April.

Categories include longest beard, thickest beard, most original beard, best sculptured beard, best effort, best overall, best mustache, most original mustache, best styled mustache, best beard/mustache combination, best mustache/goatee combination and best of show.
