Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up 29 cents, or 4.43 per cent, to $6.83 on 9.9 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 20 cents, or 3.33 per cent, to $6.20 on 9.4 million shares.
Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down $1.02, or 2.98 per cent, to $33.16 on 9.3 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 39 cents, or 7.25 per cent, to $5.77 on 8.8 million shares.
Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG). Miner. Up 12 cents, or 5.85 per cent, to $2.17 on 8.6 million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down five cents, or 0.54 per cent, to $9.24 on 8.3 million shares.

SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. (TSX:SNC). Engineering. Up 35 cents, or 0.77 per cent, to $45.69 on 266,883 shares. SNC-Lavalin said its oil and gas segment will be one of two main profit generators this year, saying it accounted for $1.8 billion of $3.4 billion in new contract awards in the first quarter. Overall net income was $122.1 million or 81 cents per share for the three months ended March 31, including a net gain of $51.1 million or 34 cents per share from asset disposals. Overall net income in the 2015 first quarter was $104.4 million.
