WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi (nah-REN’-drah MOH’-dee) in Washington next month.
The White House says Obama and Modi will meet at the White House on June 7. The prime minister is slated to address a joint session of Congress the next day.
The leaders are due to discuss the climate change and clean energy partnership that Obama announced on his last visit to India in January 2015.
The White House says security and economic issues will also be on the agenda.
