Stabbing in Lytton: One man dead, one arrested

LYTTON, B.C. – A 38-year-old man is dead after a stabbing at a rural property near Lytton Friday night.

RCMP say officers were called to a stabbing at the property on Two Mile Road at around 7:45 p.m., Jan. 22, according to a media release.

The victim was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries, police say.

“During the course of the investigation a 19-year-old man was located and arrested,” Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says in the release.

On Jan. 26, police said charged Colton Reigh Smith, 19, was charged with second degree murder.
