Vernon RCMP appeal to public for tips about stolen truck

VERNON – Vernon RCMP are asking people to keep an eye out for a truck with a cracked front grill and red decals on it.

The truck was stolen sometime overnight Jan. 22 from a house in the 5600 block of Heritage Drive in Vernon, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says. The truck is a brown 2001 GMC Sierra.

Also taken from outside the residence was a Porter-Cable air compressor and a chop saw.

Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to call the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP detachment or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
