Flo Rida, Troye Sivan to join Djokovic, Nadal for kids’ day

NEW YORK – The new retractable roof at the U.S. Open will see its first major action during Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, as Flo Rida, Troy Sivan and others join defending men’s champion Novak Djokovic (NOH’-vak JOH’-kuh-vich) and former champ Rafael Nadal for music, tennis and other kid-friendly activities.

The annual event , which pays tribute to the late tennis great, is set for Aug. 27 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, two days before the start of the U.S. Open, the last Grand Slam tennis event of the year, in Flushing, Queens.

Actor Joey Bragg, singer Jordan Fisher and singer-actress Laura Marano will host the festivities. Forever in Your Mind are slated to perform. ABC will air the event the following day.
