Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (TSX:PRE). Oil and gas. Down 27 cents, or 6.96 per cent, to $3.61 on 7.1 million shares.

Surge Energy Inc. (TSX:SGY). Oil and gas. Up 54 cents, or 14.40 per cent, to $4.29 on 6.7 million shares.

Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ). Miner. Up 19 cents, or 3.88 per cent, to $5.09 on 5.7 million shares.

MBAC Fertilizer Corp. (TSX:MBC). Fertilizer producer. Up 1.5 cents, or 14.29 per cent, to 12 cents on 5.6 million shares.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. (TSX:QSR). Fast food restaurants. Down $1.45, or 2.87 per cent, to $49.14 on 778,454 shares. The parent company of Tim Hortons and fellow restaurant chain Burger King posted adjusted net income of $83.6 million or 18 cents per share, which fell short of analyst expectations of 20 cents per share, according to estimates compiled by Thomson

SNC-Lavalin (TSX:SNC). Up 98 cents, or 2.28 per cent, to $43.98 on 467,646 shares. One of the analysts that covers SNC-Lavalin has upgraded his rating and price estimate for the company’s stock as a result of changes to the federal government’s procurement policy, announced in last week’s budget. Analyst Chris Murray of AltaCorp Capital said Monday his new target price for SNC shares is $51, up from $43.
