KAMLOOPS – A father accused of running over his son in the Royal Inland Hospital parking lot will not face a judge.
“The file was concluded without any charges,” said Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for the RCMP.
Last week, officers heard the father was bringing his son to the hospital when an argument broke out between them. During the verbal altercation, the son was standing outside of his father’s vehicle when he was pulled under the car. He suffered broken bones and abrasions.
Due to privacy issues, it remains unknown why the 24-year-old was brought to the hospital in the first place. The victim was uncooperative with police.
