Kelowna RCMP on the lookout for cheesy thieves

KELOWNA – A trio of determined thieves made off with a dozen boxes of cheese they took during an early morning break and enter in Kelowna this week.

RCMP say three suspects, likely one man and two women, in a dark blue or black pickup truck showed up at Lakeview Market just after 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27.

They used bolt cutters to first cut the lock to a fenced compound at the rear of the store before trying to cut the lock to the cooler. When that failed, they managed to cut the hinges and the suspects left with approximately 12 full boxes of Black Diamond cheese.
