UPDATE: RCMP locate missing Kelowna man

UPDATE: 12:53 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016

KELOWNA – RCMP credit observant members of the public for locating a missing 66-year-old Kelowna man very quickly today, Jan. 31.

Police say after a medical check the missing man will be reunited with this family.

The public's assistance in finding this vulnerable person in such a timely manner is appreciated, RCMP say in a media release.

All personal information about the missing man has been removed from this article.

KELOWNA – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 66-year-old Kelowna man.

The man left his home in Rutland yesterday morning, Jan. 30, on foot, according to a RCMP media release.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3399 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
