PENTICTON – Tips from the public helped RCMP arrest an alleged drug dealer in Penticton.
Police arrested a woman last week who faces trafficking charges, according to a RCMP media release.
After receiving complaints from members of the public, investigators kept the suspect under surveillance before pulling it over on Edgewood Drive, Jan. 28.
RCMP say they found an assortment of drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and hydromorphone in the vehicle.
A 29-year-old woman appeared in court and has been released on a promise to appear. Her next court appearance is set for March 2.
