Can you help identify these men who broke into Salmon Arm pawn shop?

SALMON ARM – The owner of a Shuswap pawn shop that was broken into in January has released video, hoping the public might recognize the thieves.

Mike Jalving, owner of Shuswap Pawn, has released video of the trio stealing few digital cameras and (oddly) scented candles when they broke into the shop Jan. 10.

“A lot of people use this business,” Jalving says. “It’s a small town, so everyone’s interested.”

Jalving says the police have leads, but he isn’t able to share that information.

“We have 12 cameras and the police have all that information,” he says. “It’s only a matter of time and they’ll be caught.”

The community has been helping look for the thieves, Jalving says. He notes that the small community has an interest in making sure those responsible are found and getting rid of the criminal element.

“It’s not about what they stole. They don’t need to be in this town,” he says. “People want to get it resolved and put them in jail.”
