LANGLEY, B.C. – Jeff Shattler scored four goals, including the winner, as the Calgary Roughnecks edged the Vancouver Stealth 14-13 on Saturday night in National Lacrosse League action.
Shawn Evans added a hat trick for the Roughnecks (7-11) with Karsen Leung chipped in with a pair. Geoff Snider, Curtis Manning, Sean Pollock, Curtis Dickson and Dane Dobbie supplied the rest of the offence.
Rhys Duch scored six times for Vancouver (5-13), which got three goals from Tyler Digby. Corey Small had two goals as Ilija Gajic and Logan Schuss rounded out the attack.
Frankie Scigliano made 33 saves for Calgary, while Tyler Richards kicked out 51 shots for the Stealth.
The Roughnecks went 1 for 2 on the power play and didn’t take any penalties throughout the match.
