TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Sunday that they have recalled right-handed pitchers Steve Delabar and Chad Jenkins from triple-A Buffalo of the International League.
The club optioned pitchers Miguel Castro and Scott Copeland to Buffalo to make room on the roster.
Delabar, 31, has appeared in nine games this season for the Bisons, posting a 2-0 record with an earned-run average of 1.00. Delabar owns a career record of 13-9 with one save and a 3.72 ERA in 152 games MLB games.
Jenkins, 27, has a 1-1 record in four starts for Buffalo with a 2.89 ERA. Jenkins has a 3-4 career record with a 3.25 ERA in 44 career appearances with Toronto.
