TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays have traded first baseman Andy Wilkins to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced on Sunday.

Wilkins, 26, batted .264 in 21 games this season for triple-A Buffalo of the International League with four doubles and nine runs-batted in.

The six-foot-one, 220 pound left-handed hitter, was originally acquired by Toronto on waivers from the Chicago White Sox on March 29. Wilkins was designated for assignment on May 2.
