
Devils hire Shero as general manager, Lamoriello remains team president
NEWARK, N.J. – Ray Shero is the new general manager of the New Jersey Devils.
Lou Lamoriello will remain as team president and oversee hockey operations, but Shero takes over as GM immediately.
Shero won a Stanley Cup during his time as GM of the Pittsburgh Penguins before being fired last year.
Before that, Shero was an assistant GM for the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators.
