Fantasy author Cashore has 2-book deal

NEW YORK – Kristin Cashore, author of the million-selling “Graceling Realm” fantasy series, has a deal for two new books.

The Penguin Random House imprint Kathy Dawson Books told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Cashore will write a “kaleidoscopic” novel called “Jane, Unlimited,” the story of an orphaned girl and a “mysterious mansion.” She has also signed up for a young adult novel that is currently untitled.

“Jane, Unlimited” is scheduled for next fall. No release date has been for the second book.

Cashore’s “Graceling Realm” books include “Graceling,” ”Fire” and Bitterblue,” which came out in 2012.
