CraveTV, Shomi streaming services now available on Apple TV

TORONTO – Apple TV users now have direct access to CraveTV and Shomi.

Bell Media announced Tuesday morning that an app for CraveTV, its on-demand subscription streaming service, was the latest to join the suite of programs available on Apple’s popular set-top box.

Later in the day, Shomi — the streaming service launched by Rogers and Shaw — also confirmed it just had an app added to Apple TV.

CraveTV and Shomi compete with Netflix, which launched in Canada in September 2010.

Shomi launched in November, while CraveTV went online in December.
