Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – This sweet older shepherd came to us from a kennel, and we don't know much about what his life consisted of prior to his surrender but we do know it didn't consist of a lot of human interaction.

Tommy is shy and nervous of new people; he takes his time to warm up and trust them. Once he knows you he enjoys being around you and loves having his ears scratched.

Tommy needs a patient adopter to help him make the adjustments to family life. He would benefit from a quiet home where he can enjoy his golden years on a comfy bed. He does not walk on a leash, so a home with a fenced yard is important.

Tommy is currently in foster working hard on his fearful tendencies. If you think this diamond in the rough may be the boy for you please make an appointment to meet Tommy in his foster home.

His Animal ID number is 371467.
