Three wounded in Shuswap shooting, two in serious condition

CELISTA – Three men were wounded in a shooting last night in the Celista area.

RCMP say the shooting happened at a home in the Shuswap town at about 6:55 p.m., Feb. 7.

“The Chase RCMP can confirm that three adult males were injured in the incident, two of which suffered serious gunshot wounds and remain in hospital care,” Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says in a media release.

A third man was treated for a minor gunshot wound and released from hospital.

Moskaluk says investigators, including members of the Major Crimes Unit, are examining the scene of the shooting today.
