Armed robbery at Kamloops gas station

KAMLOOPS – A Downtown gas station was the target of an alleged armed robbery yesterday night.

A suspect entered the Petro Canada on 10th Avenue around 9:20 p.m., Feb. 8, and told the clerk he had a gun while demanding cash and cigarettes, Cpl. Cheryl Bush of Kamloops RCMP says in a release.

The clerk was not injured and did not actually see the gun.

The suspect is described as a First Nations male, about 6’ tall with a thin build and wearing dark clothes and white running shoes at the time. The jacket he was wearing had a ‘Can am West’ logo on the front.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
