Kamloops Airport returning to normal as morning fog lifts

KAMLOOPS – Several flights were cancelled or delayed this morning at Fulton Field as fog blanketed Kamloops.

Airport manager Fred Legace says flights in and out of the airport were affected.

“Two flights were cancelled, one to Vancouver and one to Calgary,” he says.

Both flights were from Air Canada and he says the airline is working to reschedule passengers now.

However he believes flights should be arriving and departing normally now. If not, it shouldn’t be long he says, noting the fog at the airport is starting to lift.

“We just got our first cargo craft in,” he says. “It missed this morning, but it just came in.”
