Crown Bitter Chocolate Coated Raisins may contain undeclared milk
OTTAWA – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning that Crown brand Bitter Chocolate Coated Raisins may contain milk that is not declared on the label.
The affected product is sold in 160 gram packages with a best before date of July 7, 2013 (UPC code 8 43167 07286 8).
The product was imported from Israel and distributed in Quebec, Ontario and possibly elsewhere in Canada.
There are no reports of any illnesses being linked to product, which could pose a serious health risk to people with allergies to milk.
The CFIA is working with the importers to remove the affected product from the marketplace.
