Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd. (TSX:CLL). Oil and gas. Unchanged at two cents on 6.1 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 15 cents, or 0.89 per cent, to $16.67 on 5.9 million shares. The company had a US$1.7-billion net loss in the first quarter and a 98 per cent drop in operating earnings as it felt the impact of lower oil and gas prices.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Down six cents, or 0.26 per cent, to $23.02 on 5.2 million shares.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (TSX:PRE). Oil and gas. Down 19 cents, or 3.09 per cent, to $5.96 on 4.9 million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up six cents, or 3.14 per cent, to $1.97 on 4.7 million shares.
Air Canada (TSX:AC). Airline. Up 44 cents, or 3.75 per cent, to $12.16 on 4.2 million shares. The country’s largest carrier reported a record $122 million or 41 cents per share of adjusted net income in the first quarter and said higher revenues from baggage and other fees are part of its drive to permanently boost profits even after fuel prices rise.

George Weston Ltd. (TSX:WN). Grocer. Down $1.28, or 1.27 per cent, to $99.80 on 144,756 shares. The company says the addition of Shoppers Drug Mart to its Loblaw retailing business helped push up first-quarter revenue by 36.7 per cent to $10.41 billion. Its profit also rose sharply, with net income rising 39.2 per cent to $167 million or $1.23 per share.
