Rogers, Tennis Canada extend sponsorship deal for Rogers Cup, other initiatives

TORONTO – Rogers and Tennis Canada announced a five-year renewal of its sponsorship agreement for the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank tournaments in Toronto and Montreal on Tuesday.

The partnership sees Rogers as the title sponsor through 2020, with Sportsnet renewing broadcast rights with expanded coverage for all rounds of the tournament in English and French beginning in 2016.

Rogers also announced a sub-licensing agreement with TVA Sports for the French-language rights to Rogers Cup.

As part of the deal, Rogers and Tennis Canada are working together on grassroots initiatives to help build the game in Canada.
