KAMLOOPS – A man is in custody after allegedly stealing money at the post office in downtown Kamloops this morning.
RCMP say a man entered the Canada Post building on Seymour Street at around 10:15 a.m., Feb. 19, and stole money from behind the counter.
“The money was recovered and through the swift actions of the attending RCMP officers, the male subject was apprehended without incident,” Sgt. Karen Delorey says in a media release.
Delorey says the man is facing a charge of theft.
