Kelowna Rockets doubled by Giants in Vancouver

VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Giants defeated the Kelowna Rockets 4-2 on Saturday night, Feb. 20, at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, taking the second half of a home and home series between the teams.

The Giants scored three times in the third period to snap a 1-1 tie and earn the win.

Tyson Baillie and Lucas Johansen had the Rockets goals. For Baillie it was his team leading 34th goal of the season.

Brodan Salmond suffered the loss in net as the Giants outshot Kelowna 36-32 in the game.

The loss dropped the Rockets record to 41-16-3-0 on the season.

Kelowna plays two road games next week before returning to Prospera Place. The Rockets play in Everett on Wednesday and in Vancouver on Friday before hosting Spokane next Saturday night.
