Homicide team investigates sudden death of four-month-old baby girl
MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. – Police in British Columbia are investigating the sudden and suspicious death of a four-month-old baby girl.
Cpl. Amanda Harnett of Ridge Meadows RCMP says the detachment was notified of the death on Wednesday afternoon.
She says in a news release that the infant was brought to hospital the night before.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is now responsible for the case but is currently not providing further details.
