Hundreds attend first ever Lake Country Children’s Festival

KELOWNA – The Lake Country Community Complex hosted the first ever Indoor Children’s Festival over the weekend and organizers are calling it an overwhelming success.

This is the first time the festival was held in Lake Country and attendees were treated to a magic show, gold panning and firefighter demonstrations. There was also turban tying, arts and crafts, live music, martial arts, prizes, games and an old fashioned photo booth.

Vendors included Scentsy, Little Things Baby Boutique and around a dozen more.

All activities inside the event were included with admission, which was by donation.

Organizer Ryan Donn put together a short video showing some of the highlights.
