‘Mindy Project’ staying on City despite being dropped by Fox in the U.S.

TORONTO – More episodes of “The Mindy Project” are heading to City.

The sitcom’s Canadian broadcaster says Mindy Kaling’s workplace comedy is returning to its prime-time schedule, despite being dropped by Fox in the United States.

Soon after the U.S. network announced it was cancelling the single-camera show, the streaming service Hulu said it would give it a fourth season.

That raised questions about the show’s availability in Canada, where Hulu is not available.

City says nothing has changed up here — Canadian fans will be able to catch new episodes this fall.
