HBO’s “Hard Knocks” to feature star J.J. Watt and Houston Texans

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans will be the stars of this season of “Hard Knocks.”

The popular HBO reality series picks one team each season to follow during training camp. This year, viewers will get an inside look at the team with Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt and last year’s No. 1 overall pick, Jadeveon Clowney, who is recovering from microfracture surgery.

Texans owner Bob McNair says this will be a great opportunity for fans outside of Houston to get acquainted with his team.

This will be the 10th season of the five-episode series.

The Atlanta Falcons were the focus of last year’s show and the Cowboys, Bengals, Chiefs, Dolphins, Jets and Ravens have previously been featured on the series.

The season will debut August 11.
