Kamloops Blazers edge visiting Kelowna Rockets

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 on Friday night, March 5, as the two WHL rivals opened up a weekend home-and-home series in Kamloops.

Kelowna outshot the Blazers 55-24 but couldn't solve Kamloops' netminder Connor Ingram, who turned in a first star performance in the win.

The Rockets and Blazers are back in action on Saturday in Kelowna when they hit the ice at Prospera Place.
