VERNON – A skydiver crash-landed on a Vernon rooftop this afternoon.
It happened on Myriad Road, just off Okanagan Landing Road, near the airport around 4 p.m.
The man’s parachute got tangled in a power line and B.C. Hydro was called to the scene.
Vernon Fire Rescue attended the scene and deputy fire chief Jack Blair says the parachutist was taken to hospital with possible fractures.
He says the incident is now under a police investigation.
