Police need help finding missing Vernon man

VERNON – Police are searching for a Vernon man who disappeared from a medical facility.

Leon Hoostie, 32, left the facility March 14 without completing his treatment.

“Police are requesting assistance in locating Leon Hoostie so that he can receive necessary medical attention,” states a release from the RCMP.

Hoostie is described as Aboriginal, 5'10", with an average build, shorter, dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is possibly wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts, or has seen him, is asked to contact the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171.
